Temple Grandin
Temple Grandin was in Boston, Massachusetts, on August 29, 1947. At the age of 2, Grandin was diagnosed with autism, considered a form of brain damage at the time. Temple also learned how to sheak at the age of 10. She is currently 67 year old and her parents are parents Richard Grandin and Eustacia Cutler.
She also got a degree in animal science.
What made temple si famous was that due to her autism she was able to understand animals better. Also she was able to find a more humane way possible. One way was by finding a way to make it to that the cows wouldn't get hurt while going to the slaughter house. Another thing that made her famous was that she made a hugging machine. She also was one of the most successful people with autism.
She also showed us that when you see obstacles as opportunities and allow yourself to learn from those experiences. You are capable of doing better than you thought you co u ld no matter what the obstacle is. She showed us this by seeing that even though she has autism she managed to do so much with her live. Also showed us that you could learn from experience and use your obstacles to your advantage. Like how she use her autism to be able to understand livestock and other animals better.
